Reveille Chor der Basler Liedertafel

The Reveille Choir of the Basler Liedertafel was founded as a small choir at dawn on July 2, 1898, and baptized on New Year's Eve on December 31, 1898.

The Reveille Choir, which has its own club status, recruits its approximately 20 singers primarily from the ranks of the Liedertafel, but also from outside. Singers who enjoy a very special chamber ensemble repertoire, nurture and cultivate it and always surprise with excellent performances.

In addition to traditional songs such as Schubert songs, church hymns and Gregorian interpretations, the repertoire also includes Swiss folk songs in all four national languages as well as Yodel and sea shanties. Contemporary compositions are also rehearsed and interpreted.
